Quinn’s Auction Galleries is pleased to present an auction of rare books, prints, autographs and associated items. The sale features a complete set of original watercolors, also 8 that were unpublished, by beloved children’s author Tasha Tudor for her 1996 book “The Great Corgiville Kidnapping”; the lot includes the copyright. Books include early editions of James Joyce’s Ulysses and Stephen Crane’s The Red Badge of Courage, as well as fine press and art reference titles. A large collection of autographs is offered; highlights are documents signed by John Hancock, Gustave Flaubert, Johannes Brahms and Honore de Balzac. Quinn’s is also pleased to present a number of original artworks prepared for the U.S. Capitol and the George Washington Masonic Temple by muralist Allyn Cox, and prints by Rembrandt van Rijn, Albrecht Durer and Giovanni Batista Piranesi, among others.
